So Jewel (or Lily, as we've begun 'calling' her) has settled in AMAZING. She's already taken a trip to Petsmart with me along with a couple to Lowe's and she did excellent both places. She's been nothing but wonderful both at Erik's apartment (we decided she and I would just have a sleepover there the rest of the week) and in the car. She even had her first 'alone time' experience for about an hour this evening. There's nothing amiss and not a single mess. I walked in and she was just waiting for me on the couch. Erik and I are completely taken by her. Thank you so much for letting us bring this wonderful little girl into our lives!

Just wanted to give you an update on Travis and send some pics. He is truly a wonderful boy! He has really come out of his shell and is full of personality! He is just the sweetest thing ever and never leaves my side. Wes and Kaylen said that when I leave the house he gets very excited. He runs from room to room looking for me and then waits by my bed till I get home. And what a greeting I get when I do come home. We have done two weeks now in obedience class and he is definitely top dog! He is so smart! He has truly been a blessing and kisses my tears when I still get sad about Shae! I’m glad you and mom talked me into him! I’ll keep you posted on his milestones!
