The hospital is located at the corner of Alma and Hedgcoxe in city of Allen. Our 4,200 sq. facility offers you a wide variety of services. We provide pediatrics, preventive medicine (vaccination, physical exam, etc.), boarding, grooming routine check-ups, dentistry, geriatrics, and surgery. Our diagnostic facilities are state-of-the-art with access to blood work machine, radiology, ECG, otoscopy, ultrasound and much more. Our drive-through capability provides you with a faster and more convenient service for medicine pick-ups or pet drop-offs. Our boarding facility is equipped with internet cameras which give you the comfort of checking on your pets while you're hundreds of miles away. We encourage you to drop by our facility for a tour. There are not enough kind words in the English language to describe the care, compassion, dedication, love and commitment Drs. Rohani, Pruitt and Worthington have shown our dogs and puppies, adopters, fosters and staff.

Their front-office staff is amazing - always patient no matter what is happening.  All of the vet techs and receptionists are helpful and knowledgeable and we have to call them several times a week.

I am proud to say we have rescued and vetted at least 150 dogs and puppies through Alma Animal Hospital. Every time, every dog and every situation, even when precarious, was handled with care and concern by all 3 doctors, and though this is something that cannot be guaranteed, all of the puppies and dogs we have had treated there have survived and thrived. We have had dozens of regular check-ups and run-of-the-mill exams and illnesses, but also several injuries and illnesses of dogs we have taken in and of my own personal dogs - Alma stopped at nothing to care for each and every one.

5 Stars is not a high enough rating for Alma Animal Hospital - they deserve 10. It takes us at least an hour for the round trip there but they make every trip worthwhile by offering our dogs and puppies such unmatched, phenomenal care -- and I have to add that during our own personal and family crises the staff reached out to help us in any way they could.
